Why do heat exchangers need chemical cleaning? It is reasonable to clean the heat exchanger regularly. With the rapid development of modern industry, the use of cooling water is not only increasing, but also the scale existing in a large number of circulating exchange equipment can not be cleaned scientifically, which leads to energy consumption and environmental damage, and reduces the operation efficiency while the equipment is damaged. In the process of heat exchange of cooling water, because the refrigerant fluid (chilled water) absorbs the heat of working fluid (cooling water) and makes its temperature rise, at this time, the Ca (HCO3) 2 and Mg (HCO3) 2 originally dissolved in water will precipitate CO2 under the effect of temperature to generate slightly soluble CaCO3 and MgCO3. When these crystals are deposited on the surface of the heat exchanger, a very hard scale is formed, which not only affects the heat exchange efficiency, but also increases the energy consumption, and even leads to shutdown and shutdown due to insufficient flow and pressure reduction of the cooling water.

Cleaning in the production process of chemical industry, due to many reasons, heat exchanger equipment and pipeline lines will produce a lot of dirt, such as coking, oil dirt, scale, sediment, corrosion products, polymers, fungi, algae, slime and so on.

The generated dirt will make the equipment and pipeline fail, the production of the plant system will decline, the energy consumption and material consumption will increase and other adverse conditions will occur. When the dirt corrosion is particularly serious, the process will be interrupted, the plant system will be forced to stop production, which will directly cause various economic losses, and even may cause malignant production accidents.

In today's scientific development, it is almost impossible to completely avoid the generation of dirt. Therefore, the cleaning of heat exchanger and other equipment has become an indispensable part of industrial production, especially in petrochemical and thermal power plant production.

Generally, two cleaning methods are used in the heat exchanger cleaning industry: chemical cleaning and high-pressure water jet cleaning. But for a long time, the traditional cleaning technology and treatment methods, such as mechanical methods (scraping, brushing), high-pressure water, chemical cleaning (pickling), scale inhibition, etc., can not effectively solve the problem and cause serious damage to the equipment itself, human body and environment.
